What to expect
How it works with Benchmark
- Needs review. We look at how your cash moves through the year to decide between a line and a term loan.
- Lender match. We present your file to banks and alternative lenders that fit your size and timing.
- Approval. We review offers with you, comparing total cost as well as the payment.
- Funding. Term loans fund in a lump sum. Lines of credit let you draw as needed and pay interest only on what you use.

Questions
Common questions
Line of credit or term loan?
A line of credit suits recurring, short-term needs, because you borrow and repay as you go. A term loan suits a one-time need with a clear payback, such as a large inventory purchase.
What is an asset-based line?
A line of credit secured by your receivables and inventory. The amount you can borrow rises and falls with those balances.
Why compare offers?
Payment size alone can be misleading. We compare the total cost and terms so you can see what each option really costs.
